The Gospel Is SO Cool!

Halllllllo! 

This week was really great here in Graz! Vallentines Day was not a huge thing here...but we passed out quite a few pass-along cards with a message of eternal marriage and a really great picture of an 80's wedding! haha This week we were able to see Charles a lot. After baptism, we teach the recent convert lessons which is really cool! Charles is hilarious! First off, I didnt tell you about his confirmation last Sunday. Let's just say that he was really overcome with the Spirit when he was confirmed. He didnt sleep well the night before his confirmation because his friend who is staying with him is having problems...so he was really tired. The Bishop confirmed him and Charles was just really touched by the spirit. He seemed pretty tired and confused during it, which i was pretty confused about. When we got to talk with him after his confirmation, Charles described it hilariously...he said he was "Drunk with the Holy Spirit" haha He used to be an alcoholic...and he said that he had never felt his way in his life. He said that only he and God knows how he felt. It was really cool. We explained that he better use the expression "Overcome with the Holy Spirit" haha So great. 

Since then, Charles has been trying to Save the World. He is still trying to help everyone in the Miracle House. He calls us all the time and tells us his experiences. He will always tell us that he is just "trying to do what the Holy Spirit is telling me to do!" He has such a huge heart and directs all of his friends to God. The change of heart that he has had is honestly so apparent. It is really cool. 

On Saturday night, we took Raymond to Charles for an appointment (he is from Nigeria and got baptized in November!) Raymonds conversion story is really cool. I will try and tell you it next week! But anyways, we went and it was so neat to see these two recent converts bear testimony back and forth! haha Charles was telling Raymond about his confirmation and his feelings and Raymond was just bearing testimony of what he had felt too. The Gospel is SOOOO cool. I was just standing there...In this run-down apartment complex, with all kinds of different people passing me, all while listening to these two changed men bear testimony of the Lord and His Goodness. I honestly felt like i was in a dream. haha It was really cool though. 

The Lord works in mysterious ways. He is preparing people to hear and recieve the Gospel all the time. Some of this preparation has been going on for years and some a whole lifetime. I have the opportunity to meet these people He has prepared. Gods plan is perfect and I get to see it in action here in Graz. When we talk with people on the bus or on the street and they dont want to hear it or take a card but have no desire, it can be really frustrating. After the frustration, the Lord quickly reminds me that this is His work. I have such a strong testimony of conversion latters. That everyone (members and non-members) has a conversion latter. That the experiences we go through, the people we meet, everything affects our conversion latter. So when I smile and give someone a card on the street, that is just another step on their latter. The Lords work goes forward. Despite all the problems, saddness, and confusion in the world, the Lord's work is moving forward all over the world. 

I know God has a plan for each of us. I know that He knows us personally and allows us to go through experiences He knows we need. 

Life is GOOD! and the Gospel is SOO cool!
