LOVE from Austria

Since Valentines day is this week, I wanted to send my LOVE from Austria!! 

Love is such a beautiful thing. It is something that I hold dear to my heart. One of the biggest reasons I am here serving a mission is because of the Love of God that I felt. Love has an effect on people that is so powerful. It is something that, when missing, is so apparent. Everyone needs to feel loved and be loved. And good news....everyone is loved! The very first principle we teach people is that God is our LOVING Heavenly Father and that He loves us. We are His children. I like to use a few scriptures when teaching this point:

"Beloved, let us love one anothe: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him." -1 John 4:7-9

"For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." - St John 3:16-17

I love these two passages. Heavenly Father is always there for us. He really loves us and wants what is best for us. Everthing He does is for our good. The experiences we go through in this life are not coincidences or interuptions, but Gods hands in our life. He has given us the entire plan and directions in order for us to return to Him. His motivation is always love and this always makes me think twice about experiences I go through. That there is always a bigger picture, a greater reason, and deeper meaning to things. 

I am so grateful for the Love I have felt and continue to feel. Both from my Father in Heaven, but also from you all. I get the awesome opportunity to tell people for the first time that they have a loving Heavnely Father. This knowledge can change a person. Love is such a powerful thing. When we realize we are loved by the creator of the Universe and that He has made it possible for us all to be happy in this life, we act differently. The Gospel is so cool. The changes it brings to the lives and hearts of the people are amazing. I love this Gospel. I love the beauty and peace availble through living its principles. I love the joy it brings to a world of saddness. I love you all! I am sorry this email is short, but today has been crazy! Ill write more next week! Oh and p.s. I love Elder Jaynes! I am so excited for this experience you are about to embark on!
