Letter 7

Guten Tag!!!!!

I hope everyone is doing great!
Can you believe it is already Christmas time? Where has time gone?

2 weeks from today, I will be in landing in Germany. Wowzers.

Well, Christmas has taken on a whole new meaning to me here at the MTC.

It's hard to describe, but I think it is because I have come so much closer to the Savior while here.

His Life and Love have become so much more real to me.

In one of the devotionals here there was a picture of the Savior's birth. It was different than anything I had seen!

It was Mary and the Savior in the middle with countless angels in white all surrounding Him. I can't help but think that each of us were there as angels.

Praising the glorious birth of our Savior and Redeemer! How cool!

The Atonement of Jesus Christ is such a beautiful thing.
I have learned so much more about it and have so much more to still learn.

One thing I learned this week that is really life-changing is the following concept...be patient as a I try to put my thoughts and feelings into words!

We are taught by the Savior Himself to become like He is.

Developing Christlike attributes is not only necessary but required .

Too often we say..."Oh I just have a bad temper" or
"That's just the way I am"  when talkng about personal weaknesses or flaws.

By so doing this we are fortfeiting the opportunity to change and ultimately we are limiting ourselves.

We are contradicting the Atonement of Jesus Christ and everything He has done for us.
Through the Savior we can overcome the World because HE has overcome the world.

It just comes down to us. It comes down to us releasing our will to Him.

I love that. I love the enabling power of the Atonement. The healing power of the Atonement is real.

Another concept that I want to bear testimony of this week is Life.

How our experiences in life are NOT interuptions in our life, but rather God's hands in our lives.

When we focus on the Savior and doing good...we will see God's hands in our lives.

Experiences are for our benefit.
We are to go beyond that which is easy and comfortable...and do the Challenging!!! God will bless us!

This Plan of God's is soooooo beautiful and GLORIOUS!

His Love is indescribable and MAJESTIC.

I am so blessed to wear His name over my heart JEDEN TAG (everyday).

What a blessing it is to celebrate His birth this season.

The Savior is real.

His Sacrifice and His life was perfect.

Through Him we can be too.

Our deep spiritual needs can only be met through the Atonement of Jesus Christ.
We are changed when we know our relationship with God.

I pray that when you miss my witty comments or me winning most games this Christmas time (haha) that you will think of the Savior instead.

Think of the Savior whenever possible becuase I love Him.

He is the reason I am serving a mission.

He is the reason Life is beautiful.

I love you all!
