Miracles in Munchen

Servus!!!
Heavenly Father is so cool. I have felt some incredible peace and comfort this past week. It has been so clear to me of His love and His concern for His children everywhere. I have also been able to testify to people here in Germany of sweet, little Bella Mae and the peace and Hope the Gospel brings to our lives. So little does Bella Mae know - she is helping shed some light to the people here! So thanks Bell!
This past week has been so much better. You know how in life sometimes the darkest moments come before the brightest moments...for example Joseph Smith experiencing the adversary before the First Vision, darkness before the sun rises, etc. Well that was last week. I felt overwhelmed for several reasons, but then Heavenly Father broke the darkness with several cool miracles.
One miracle was last Sunday. The bishop came up to me and handed me a paper with an email on it. He said there was a woman at church that was not a member, who had just walked in to the church house for church.
So I went into the Sunday school class where she was and sat by here. As we talked I was privileged to learn more of this miracle sitting next to me. Her name is Angela and she is from right outside of Munich. She is married and has two children, Raphael (7) and Sonja (4). About two months ago they were on vacation in Italy and they had a tour guy that was great. The children loved him and they got a long so well. The family exchanged emails with the tour guide. This tour guide was luckily a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He sent Angela an email with a link to the LDS.org website and as well a blurb about General Conference, he simply said that he was a member  of the Church and suggested that she check it out. How cool is that?
Well Angela did just that. She even watched most of conference and she LOVED it. Finally, last Sunday Angela was able to walk into the church and experience Christ's church here on the earth. Angela explained that her husband was a little skeptical about religion (welcome to Germany). I asked if she had a Book of Mormon yet and she said no. I was then able to give Angela a book that has changed my life. A book that has brought me peace, strength, comfort, and happiness all at the same time, The Book of Mormon. I asked if we could get together to talk more about it and she agreed.Last week did not work out to meet but we set up an appointment for this Wednesday. Angela and her two children came to all three hours of church yesterday which they all enjoyed. Truly a miracle.
His truth is truly marching on. And the best part of it all, is that we did nothing. We do our best to be better people and to do good - just like the happy member in Italy who took the opportunity to share what brought him so much happiness. Heavenly Father is a God of Miracles. He is changing lives all over the world - and He will change our lives if we let Him do just that.
I love the Gospel. I am well aware that trials are necessary and that through them we can learn how to love. I am grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ. Wearing His name and my family name, Jaynes, over my heart everyday is such a privilege.
Miracles truly never cease...even in Munich :)
XOXOXOXO
Schwester Jaynes.
