Letter 5

Leben ist sehr Gut
{Life is very good}
How is everyone doing?
I don't have that much time today, but I wanted to share a scripture that means a lot to me, especially at this point in my life!
It is in Moses 6. I love Enoch's humility, faith, and just entire example to us.
Moses 6:31 "...Why is it that I have found favor in thy sight, and am but a lad, and all the people hate me; for I am slow of speech; wherefore am I thy servant?"
I can relate to a few different things with Enoch. Why have I found favor in the Lord's sight?
Why am I so blessed to be a missioanry and to wear His name over my heart?
I can relate to the speech portion because German is hard! It is definitely coming - but still difficult.
The Gift of Tongues is real. In just a month I have learned so much...and it is ONLY becuase of the Lord.
In response to Enoch, the Lord makes a beautiful promise...Moses 6:32-34.
WIth the Spirit...we can open our mouths and He will justify our words. He will give us utterance. How cool is that?
And finally at the end of verse 34 "...And thou shalt abide in me, and I in you; therefore walk with me."
The Lord loves you. He wants us to walk with Him.
I have felt every emotion humanly possible here at the MTC.
I am constantly learning new things.
Sometimes I am overwhelmed by the opportunity and responsiblity that I have.
I am humbled when I think of why the Lord has called me to this mission and to speak German.
The Lord is so good to me. I am filled with His love when I seek it.
I find strength in the Savior when I don't have enough strength myself.
The Lord truly does take what our best is and then not only makes it enough, but even better than you can imagine.
This is afterall, His work. I am so blessed to be a part of it.
Jesus Christ is our Savior.
He lives and loves us.
Through His Atonement we can not only be cleansed from sin, but also enabled to get through the hard times and accomplish our goals!
I am going to the temple today and I can't help but picture our entire family in the Celestial room!
Elder Holland said that "The Temple is for Sinners"
Although one does need to be worthy, we do not need to be perfect!
The Temple teaches us. It is a place where we can feel God's love and come closer to the Savior.
If you have not been to the temple lately....GET THERE!
Besides...you may just run into your favorite schwester! :)
I love you all!
The Church is True and the Book is Blue!!!!!!
