Guten Tag Liebe Familie!
Well it's already been another week here in Graz. I really cannot believe it. Time is just so crazy. The transfer ends this week and so i will be done with 1/3 of my mission. That is beyond believable. This week has been a good week. I feel like every week here is eniterly different. This last week we taught Petra twice! She is so great. The first lesson was a little rough. Petra is a content smoker so teaching her about the Word of Wisdom was a challenge. We fasted for her inbetween lessons and we really saw a miracle happen with her. No, she did not give up smoking over night, but her heart was more open to it. She is now willing to try giving up smoking. This week we will be finishing up the Plan of Salvation and then we will be starting the "Stop Smoking Program". Which is an inspired program that missionaries have been using for years. So I will let you know how that goes.
Ohhhh the Gospel is just so cool. I am so grateful that I have the knowledge I do. I meet/try and talk to so many people everyday that do not believe in God or that think they have their own faith and that is enough. Of course there are frustrations, but most days there is nothing I can do, but be grateful that I know what I do.
Sorry this week i have like no time and my thoughts are allllll over the place. But next week i will write more and better. Just know that Heavenly Father love you. He has a plan for each of us. His timing is perfect for us, even if it is not what we would want at the time we would like it. I am so grateful to share the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The hope, happiness, and blessings that come from living its principles.
This week we get transfer calls and everyone thinks I am getting transferred. Dont worry though, I am telling them they are wrong....and we all know Sister Jaynes is usually alwayssss right! :) Some things dont change! haha I love this work. I love hearing Elder Jaynes first week in Russia. His experience alone proves that this is not man's work, but God's! He is leading this work. We just have to become willing to be tools in His hands so that He can bring about His miracles. This concept is not unique to missionary work. When we choose to follow Him and give our hearts and wills to Him, He makes our lives a miracle and we become who He wants us to become. So beautiful and simple.
I love you all!
XOXOXO
Schwester Jaynes
